Spectrum : My colours!!!

Sometimes country needs some stringent laws to make public understand the
gravity of situation but its upto the public to take things in manner which
laws are meant to be taken...........

here is my take on the recent change in Traffic Laws in INDIA:

this is one situation where rampant corruption gives more chances for Traffic police to earn more (here 5 times) as per simple arithmetic.

Now the situation II gives another look 'how people make fun of laws....this is how most of educated and so called modern society takes the new laws...

Hope you all like these sketches and will give your comments and suggestions...

power gone : Jyoti babu

Saturday. time: 7:30 pm venue: a very old architecture with red bricks and wooden chairs along with Teak-tables, a waiter in posh-white outfit reminding me of British era, this place is "Coffee House" in the Civil lines area of Allahabad city. . Over the corner table on my left there were two oldies sitting, not just sitting though, but sipping there coffee. complete silence, a pin-drop per say. only the crumble sound of news-paper, if at all turned. both oldies very so carried away with that news-paper article that they forgot the world around them. sudden electricity fails, one of the two said, Jyoti Babu chole geche !!!! and there was big laugh all around,,,,, i was perplexed what electricity has to do with Jyoti babu?? i asked the gentleman what he meant by that? he offered me a chair and ordered a cup of coffee for me as well. he told me that both are Bengolis and they were part of Communist movement in the late sixties and late seventies whi...

Indian middle class who is always sandwiched between the rocky roughness of corruption and politics. Once again this has happening in Maharashtra. I don’t understand few things what Mr. SWAR _Raj wants to convey as Marathi pride……… 1) Where was Raj, when there were thousands of MARATHI MANOOS committing suicide in Vidarbha and Marathwada.? ( still suicides are prevalent) 2) Where was Raj, when terrorists rocked Mumbai in December last year? ( in his safe house) 3) Where was Raj, when there were 1993 riots? ( Was he a child that time, a spoon fed baby) These three questions are like triangle problem to me whose angles are so obtuse that it is difficult to figure out the area of the triangle. I don’t understand, what they gonna provide to Marathi common man? 1) an identity of ruckus? 2) an identity of mindless g...
