Pehli Door-ghatna : first mishap///

A lazy morning, a lazy bed and a very very very lazy sleeping giant over the bed...ie, me!!!!
Alarm rang n somehow i managed to look at my mobile about the description of the alarm. It made me jump out of my blanket and i rushed to toi/bathroom to do the natural job.

interestingly the last word in the above line was the Description of the Alarm that made me to jump out of bed..........aahhh it is a placement day!!!

placement day : a d-day for any MBA student irrespective of whether he has taken loan or not.
irrespective of how many backlogs one has secured during his journey during MBA.

so as far as i am concerned, neither i have taken any loan for studies nor i could manage any backlog during the stint of 2 years. therefore, i can say that i am not from the happening lot of the batch who enjoy the good golden days of adventure of backlogs or the pressure of calculating & repayment of loans.

ohhh i forgot, i was talking about Placements....

you know, "Placements is a privilege, not a right"!

therefore, if you are fortunate then you get placed, if you are not then, even God is not at your side.

& thats the time when nothing goes right,

your gal friend looks like Chudail who can ask about your future plans anytime.

your family members become Criminal Lawyers who talk, ask & enquire alot.

& your friends are the only relief element there in this "Bad world" specially when the friend is not yet placed or out of placements due to some reason.

Friend word reminded me a seen from 3 Idiots where it is said that "dukh hota hai jab apna dost fail ho jae, lekin jyada dukh tab hota hai jab koi friend top karta hai"!!

similar things are happening around me, everyday i see one face with smile and other faces, dark and humiliated.

again i forgot, i was talking about placement day...

hmmmm, rushed towards nature'z room n came back fresh. then jumped into the official uniform of college. you know best part with the day is that you look good & u try to be as civilized as you can. i just meant to say that i was looking good.

so finally i reached college, n sat in the prescribed room!!!!

after a wait of 20 mints the company people came & stared at us as if we are fresh products n they gonna pick at their will.

Next is the ppt or pakau, chatuu talk of the HR where everybody is interested in only one part which deals with the compensation part.

Ok, after having the round of talks, its time for first round of test ie., Group discussion...

in a room, there are 10 chairs in a shape that can be described as aperture or a small part of circumference, say it a 90 degree from the centre...

now all fighters are seated n waiting for a nod for the battle.
3........2........1.........0............here it goes, all guns banged.

and banged better than tanks, bombs etc n soon the room was full of smoke. nothing was visible, audible,,,only thing evident was the shear force hat everybody were making to make each seconds, count.

oooommmphhhhh, HR was haplessly looking at us, & finally he stopped finalised the final list of interview.

actually nobody got through................all were rejected....

interestingly, all of the people which included me, barked well during the 10 mints time. but unfortunately, the dog on the other side of the table dint paid heed to our bark.........bhow bhow bhow........woof wooof wooof...

So here ended my journey n this helped to loose a hope of 9 lacs... in which i would have added up atleast 2-3 lacs by taking bribes :P but all hopes shatterred.

so finally the result which means Labbo Luab in urdu is that, hume naukri nahi mili...

hadd hai yaar but wht to do about it....

Only msg to all those who will appear for next companies is that in group discussion remember that you are not the group but other 8-9 guys are also there n they have equal right to speak..........

Next story after the next mishap..........

China bullies India amidst tour of Minister of Defence (MoD) A K Antony to China. I'm still to understand the mindset of Govt Of India when it comes to talk of bilateral n strategic relations with China, Pakistan, Bangladesh.... This is my take on the issue when #China is making mockery of Indian peace initiatives!!

power gone : Jyoti babu

Saturday. time: 7:30 pm venue: a very old architecture with red bricks and wooden chairs along with Teak-tables, a waiter in posh-white outfit reminding me of British era, this place is "Coffee House" in the Civil lines area of Allahabad city. . Over the corner table on my left there were two oldies sitting, not just sitting though, but sipping there coffee. complete silence, a pin-drop per say. only the crumble sound of news-paper, if at all turned. both oldies very so carried away with that news-paper article that they forgot the world around them. sudden electricity fails, one of the two said, Jyoti Babu chole geche !!!! and there was big laugh all around,,,,, i was perplexed what electricity has to do with Jyoti babu?? i asked the gentleman what he meant by that? he offered me a chair and ordered a cup of coffee for me as well. he told me that both are Bengolis and they were part of Communist movement in the late sixties and late seventies whi...

poverty Vs Pragati..............Maharashtra lost the road??

hi friends, i am in mumbai now and certainly i am in the biggest slums in the world...........here people are robots,,,,,running, pushing, slazing .....all sorts of acts and mis-acts are happening here. on one side a pluffy, plush society is there which is having much more than required for their life................on the other there are people who are struggling for making ends meet. i saw on one side people are enjoying the DAY LIGHT at 10PM in sports stadiums (DY Patil stadium) and i found peeple in Parel who are struggling to see some sun light in their slums, chawls in the absense of electricity. the question is not about the diffrerence and the absurd distribution of wealth....but the question is against the civic society which is having plentiful of educated social workers who hail from high society and they do their work just to add up a new feather in the cap.....if i use the banking language, they diversify themselves from just party animals to social workers. anoth...
